Initial consultation
We will first schedule a 50 minute in-person consultation to decide if we’re a good fit to work together. During this meeting, I am interested in hearing what brings you to therapy, your past experiences in therapy (if any), and what you’re hoping for in our work together. I will do my best to answer any questions you might have about my approach and what you can expect from the process of therapy with me. If we decide to work together, that meeting will be billed as a regular session.
Sessions
Once we decide we’re a good fit, it’s best to find a regular weekly time for your sessions. Sometimes, meeting twice a week may be indicated for deeper work to unfold. This consistent rhythm helps us notice subtle shifts, deepen emotional safety, and work with experiences as they arise between us.
I find therapy can feel most grounded and connected when we're in the same room, and so I prefer working together in person. I am not currently seeing patients via telehealth.
Fees and insurance
$180 per 50 minute session. You are responsible for payment at the time of session.
I am an out-of-network provider. My services may be partially reimbursable under some plans’ out-of-network benefits, and I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I encourage you to speak with your insurance company directly to check your out-of-network coverage.
Missed appointment policy
Consistency and commitment are necessary for therapy to work well. Because your weekly appointment time is reserved just for you, you are financially responsible for your sessions regardless of whether you’re able to attend. In cases of sickness or emergency, I make every effort to reschedule for the week before, during, or after the missed appointment when possible. For planning purposes, I aim to provide you with my out of office dates (usually 4-6 weeks per year) well in advance. You will not be charged for any sessions that I have to miss, nor for federal holidays.
Location
My office is located in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle at the Maynard Building (119 1st Ave S). I’m centrally located a few blocks from the Pioneer Square light rail station, the RapidRide C and H bus lines, and downtown ferry terminal.
